Mark started in the stock and station industry in 1994. At this time he became a licensed rural salesman as a part of a nationwide cadet scheme until he started with Southern Wide Real Estate in 1997 where he has been since. Now with 18 years of experience in rural sales in Southland, he has gained a wide knowledge of the province and the different farming practices including dairying, mixed sheep and beef, deer and cropping.
